    About EWC

    I have been a qualified PE Teacher for 9 years and since 2022, I have worked as a Personal Trainer both in person and online.

    My coaching style is all about balance. I love training hard and eating well, but I also love a wine and saying yes to social plans! My coaching ethos reflects that: improving your health and fitness should be about looking at what you can add to your life to help you feel strong and confident, without taking away the things you enjoy the most.

    At EWC, I focus on education and empowerment. I want you to understand the "why" behind your choices around training and nutrition because I truly believe that real confidence comes from knowledge and understanding.

    Personally, I'm not mad for a transformation photo, quick fixes or a copy and paste programme. Instead, we'll work together to build sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle, priorities and goals whether that is based around improving your mindset, your overall fitness levels, your relationship with food and exercise, fat loss, performance goals or body recomposition. My aim is to help you feel strong, happy and healthy - whatever that looks like for you.

    Having been struggling to lose weight for a very long time by myself, constantly failing and hating myself even more with yo-yo diets, I did the one thing I was scared to do… ask for help.     9 years of a horrible relationship with food and horrible mental health, one registered eating disorder and over 2 years of therapy completely overcome by your help and your support in educating me through this one step at a time. You have COMPLETELY changed my views towards nutrition and genuinely turned my life around because of that. Now I can go out for meals, go out for random drinks in the pub, have the odd family takeaway, eat Xmas dinner without having a meltdown the next day, go into a coffee shop for a cake when out on a walk… I could go on and on and on and all without guilt or anxiety.

    Emma Williams

    Movement has always been a huge part of my life. I have always loved competitive sports - netball, rugby, volleyball etc. My first real experience of the gym wasn't until University when I would wander into the cardio section, do some abs and try and "sweat out" the night before. I followed many programmes over the years - mostly with the aim of being "smaller" - but nothing seemed to stick.

    Then I found a love for the simplicity of lifting weights and my mindset changed. My enjoyment for this led to consistency, which led to progress which resulted in improved strength, more confidence and finally some appreciation of what my body can do (and yes, the by-product of this was some shape in my body!).

    I realised that fitness is there to enhance your life - not to be your whole life and I knew I wanted to help others feel the same which led to completing my Level 2&3 PT Qualification in 2022. Since then, I have continued to lift weights, competed in events such as Hyrox and continued to grow my knowledge within the industry.

    Recently I have become a mama to my little girl! So my fitness journey has looked a little different while I navigated pregnancy and postpartum but within both, I was determined (and lucky enough) to stay active and lifting. I found that during this time there were a lot of mixed messages about what exercise was safe and effective to do which really encouraged me to improve my knowledge base in this area and complete my Pre/Post Natal qualification. Now I can support other women to stay strong mentally and physically while they navigate this period of their lives!
